Workshops in Chapeltown were held by Michelle Scally Clarke, who along with other Leeds writers and Route have been working over the last few months to bring out the talent from young writers in Leeds.

Michelle's book and Album will be launched in April 2001. Venues to be announced. The night will feature Shame - Including new collaborations with Roisin O'shea and Steve Emerson, The Michelle Scally Clarke Band plus support. The vibe will be set by The Funky Divas make a welcome return playing classic cuts of hip hop & reggae through to soul and back.

In April Michelle will be featured on a BCC documentary. The program will examine changing attitude on adoption through personal stories.
